Description:
This program calculates the day on which Easter falls for a specified year.
The program uses an algorithm due to J.M.Oudin (1940), which calculates the Sunday on which Easter will fall according to the first ecclesiastical full moon on or after March 21.
This application, Easter, was inspired by a chance visit to the U.S. Naval Observatory, Astronomical Applications Department (http://aa.usno.navy.mil/faq/docs/easter.html), when a group of friends were wondering when Easter break would be this year.
In the UK Easter break is a paid four-day long-weekend. But it is awkward to plan for because the date is not fixed. Maybe this program will help you get the best from Easter Break from now on.
