MasterMind v2.01 Size: 5 KB Date: November 18, 2004 (Updated) Type: Freeware Min. Requirement:
• Palm III
• Palm OS v3.0 Download:
• MasterMind.zip
Author:F.F. Mak Email:ffmak@sinaman.com Description:
The classical MasterMind game is to guess the sequence of 4 colored pegs the computer has selected at random from 6 possible colored pegs.
After each guess, the computer gives you a score of exact and partial matches.
Your task is to find the correct answer in as few guesses as possible.
In our modified version, instead, we have 8 possible pictured pegs and 8 empty holes to be filled.
You start filling the holes at the top row with pegs, you may or may not require to use all possible pegs.
And each time you have completed a guess by clicking the 'Check' button (i.e. filled all 8 holes by clicking the empty holes and selecting your pictured pegs) the computer will respond by giving you one small peg for each correct pegs - black if your guess was also in the right position, otherwise white.
But you will not be informed about which pegs were correct.
If you have not found the correct sequence by your 12th guess or the 'Ans' button is clicked, the computer will reveal it to you and the game ends.
Speed up your brain!
Try it and have fun. :-)

Towers of Hanoi by Mak v1.11 Size: 3 KB Date: November 18, 2004 (Updated) Type: Freeware Min. Requirement:
• Palm III
• Palm OS v3.0 Download:
• TowersOfHanoi.zip
Author:F.F. Mak Email:ffmak@sinaman.com Description:
According to legend an order of Buddhist monks in Hanoi has been engaged for many years in the following task.
The monks have 3 rods and a set of circular discs of different sizes; each disc has a hole in the centre which allows it to be slid onto any of the rods.
Initially the discs were all placed on a single rod, one on top of the other in order of decreasing size, so that they formed a single tower as its initial state.
The task the monks have set themselves is to transfer this original tower to one of the other rods, moving only one disc at a time and ensuring that no disc ever rests on top of a smaller one.
The labor involved in carrying out this task is said to be spiritually uplifting, and the monks believe that its completion will herald the end of the world.
Try it! It is funny.
Train your brain and finish it in 31 moves.
